Şefika Şule Erçetin graduated from the Faculty of Economics, Administrative and Social Sciences Department of Business Administration at Anadolu University in 1984. In 1987 she started to work as research assistant at the Division of Educational Administration, Supervision, Planning, and Economics in Hacettepe University and completed the doctorate there. In 1994 she was invited to The University of Texas at Austin, where she worked as visiting scholar for six months. Since 2003 she has been working as professor. In 2009-2012 she directed many international and national projects about “organizational intelligence, municipalities, vocational education,” as project coordinator. She is the head of the company she established Ni.Su with “Quantum Performance in Project Management” project. She is the president, management board member and founder member of the International Science Association (ISCASS). Along with ISCASS, Prof. Dr. Şefika Şule Erçetin organized 3 international symposiums.
She has published more than 50 articles in both national and international journals. She has written seven national books, 10 international book chapters and edited six international books. She is editor in chief of different national and international journals. She is one of the rare academics in Turkey who has been interested in “chaos, complexity, quantum leadership” since 1990. She has directed many theses and she gives seminars about these topics. Her other main research fields are organizational intelligence, stupidity and wisdom, leadership and vision, fuzzy logic, children at risk, women and peace studies, social media.
Since December 2013 she has been the Director of Distance Education Application and Research Center in Hacettepe University where she leads the activities of substructure, planning, program, coordination and application for the distance education applications of graduate education, undergraduate education and lifelong learning programs.
Santo Banerjee received his PhD in 2008 in the area of Nonlinear Dynamics and Theoretical Physics. His current area of research is Chaos theory and its various applications in the field of Engineering, Science and Management. He has 15 authored/edited books and hundreds of international publications.
He is also an editor/board member of many international journals.
Currently he is working as a research scientist (Associate professor grade) in the Institute for Mathematical Research, University Putra Malaysia, Malaysia.
